Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric is seeking a part-time Gymnastics Instructor at the Wulf Recreation Center in Evergreen, CO. You will teach gymnastics classes, demonstrate skills, supervise participants, and ensure a safe, positive learning environment for children.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, tracking attendance, communicating with families, and reporting any safety concerns. Prior gymnastics experience and safety certifications are valued; background checks and training may be required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Able to work indoors with interruptions and distractions.
• Ability to instruct gymnasts safely to reach goals.

Responsibilities

• Teach gymnastics classes for children of different ages and skill levels.
• Demonstrate and help participants practice skills safely.
• Supervise participants and maintain an organized class environment.
• Explain and enforce gym rules and equipment safety.
• Set up and inspect equipment before/after classes.
• Take attendance and track participant progress.
• Communicate with participants, parents, and coworkers.
• Keep the gym area clean and safe.
• Report injuries and equipment concerns.
• Provide basic first aid and follow emergency procedures.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
