Job summary

The YMCA is seeking a part-time Gymnastics Instructor in Plaistow, NH to provide safe, engaging classes for youth of all skill levels, from early childhood to school-age participants. Candidates should be at least 16, available for a fixed 12-week schedule, and prepared to obtain Safe Sport, USAG Safety, CPR, and First Aid certifications.

Prior youth instruction or gymnastics experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Commit to set hours in a 12 week session.
• Willing to obtain Safe Sport, USAG Safety Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open gymnastics sessions to ensure safety and fun.
• Assist with curriculum-based classes that engage and inspire participants.
• Set up and take down equipment to maintain a well-organized environment.
• Build meaningful relationships to enhance participant and member satisfaction.
• Motivate and inspire youth to learn new skills through demonstrations and hands-on guidance.
