Job summary

UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago is seeking a Youth Residential Supervisor to lead operations within therapeutic youth group homes. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment while promoting independence, life skills, and community integration for youth in care.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in social services, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supervision in congregate care, and a commitment to person-centered supports.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year full-time experience in a residential childcare program.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field OR 5 years of supervised experience in congregate care.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
• Maintain a consistent leadership presence in assigned residential homes
• Ensure implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and behavior supports
• Monitor compliance, documentation, and data collection requirements
• Support crisis response, safety practices, and youth well‑being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and agency leadership
