Job summary

Rite of Passage Team in Virginia seeks a Group Home Supervisor to lead daily living programs in our cottages, supervising Youth Care Workers and collaborating with professional staff. You will support youth needs, work with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment in a residential setting.

Qualifications include a bachelor's in social work or psychology with two years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with five years in

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A bachelor's degree in social work or psychology & two years of professional experience working with children, one year in a residential facility for children OR a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years professional experience working with children, with at least 2 years in a residential facility for children.
• 1-year Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility experience.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Develop the daily living program within each cottage.
• Train and supervise Youth Care Workers within their cottage.
• Provide an atmosphere supportive of the needs of the youth.
• Collaborate with other professional staff to meet each youth's treatment plan.
• Perform standard paraprofessional work in program operations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology

High school diploma + 5 years residential youth care experience
