Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) seeks a Group Home Coordinator to supervise support staff, oversee daily programming, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in their assigned shelter. The role centers on developing therapeutic relationships with youth and coordinating services aligned with each youth's service plan.

You will manage staff schedules, conduct annual performance appraisals, and handle intake, basic needs, and incident documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience working in youth services.
• Ability to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and maintain documentation.
• Conduct intake services and provide youth with program overview.
• Provide direct care to youth and maintain appropriate supervision levels.
• Develop rapport with youth and serve as a positive role model.
• Coordinate staff schedules and approve leave requests.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
