Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) seeks a Youth Care Specialist to directly support youth ages 10-17 in a part-time role. The position emphasizes safe, nurturing care, facilitating educational growth and life skills, with shifts including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, and mandatory weekends.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, supporting intake processes, coordinating with the Program Manager, and ensuring ongoing safety and smooth operation of the shelter.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry level position; experience with youth in a structured setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth aged 10-17 and ensure a safe, secure environment.
• Assist with day-to-day facility maintenance and 24-hour direct care staffing coverage.
• Screen clients, conduct initial intakes, and coordinate youth intakes and orientation.
• Prepare meals and supervise chores; maintain program vehicle upkeep and scheduling.
