Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, motivate and coach students in developing gospel knowledge and testimonies.
• Competent ability to manage a classroom with a variety of skills and techniques.
• Good communication skills and self-awareness of how communication impacts others.
• Able to work well with youth and show empathy for their challenges.
• Ability to build constructive working relationships with integrity, acceptance, cooperation and respect.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and willingness to receive feedback.
• Ability to support students with disabilities may be required.
• Meet Church policies and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present lessons to students.
• Assist students in fulfilling their role in the learning process.
• Teach in the Savior’s Way by focusing on Jesus Christ and the Spirit.
• Create learning experiences centered on the restored gospel and the Word of God.
• Participate in regular training to improve performance and career development.
• Seek feedback through surveys and observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
