Job summary

SCGA Junior Golf Foundation is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the operation, growth and exposure of its PYD programs across the community.

The role is full-time and non-exempt, focusing on curriculum development and coaching development, with assignments across field locations. The position begins at $24.00 per hour and requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field of study or combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of golf and ability to independently lead intermediate to advanced programming.
• 1+ year experience in sports, events, operations, or similar roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present to small groups.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; able to work with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program and safety policies in San Fernando Valley locations.
• Lead beginner to advanced golf programming and events.
• Recruit, schedule, and conduct lessons; supervise coaches and train staff.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders.
• Manage registrations, attendance, rosters, and program data.
