Job summary

Philadelphia Union is seeking passionate, energetic futsal coaches to develop the next generation of players in a high-performance environment at our academy. You will deliver age-appropriate sessions, uphold the Union's coaching philosophy, and foster a challenging, inclusive learning atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has futsal or soccer coaching experience and a commitment to youth development, with availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching futsal and/or soccer.
• Strong knowledge of player development principles.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Passion for youth development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate futsal training sessions for players ages U7-U19.
• Implement the Philadelphia Union playing philosophy and coaching methodology.
• Create a positive, safe, and player-centered learning environment.
• Develop players' technical ability, decision-making, creativity, and game intelligence through futsal.
• Coach academy teams during leagues, tournaments, showcases, and special events.
• Communicate professionally with players, parents, and academy staff.
• Assist with player evaluations and provide developmental feedback.
• Support Philadelphia Union Academy initiatives, camps, clinics, and community events as needed.
• Ensure all training sessions meet safety standards and organizational expectations.
• Maintain attendance records and complete coaching reports as required.
• Represent the Philadelphia Union with professionalism both on and off the court.
