Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in education, public relations, or related field; and two years of experience in public education or outreach.
• Experience supporting safety education, community outreach, or public engagement initiatives.
• Government agency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver developmentally appropriate fire and life safety curriculum for students.
• Facilitate youth-centered community programs including CPR, First Aid, and overdose prevention.
• Serve as primary contact for school-based education programs.
• Support outreach events, partnerships, and public relations efforts.
• Distribute educational materials and maintain program records and outcomes.
• Operate a City vehicle to support school-based and community outreach activities.
• Perform data entry, scheduling, grant support, and program documentation.
