Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch is seeking a Family Support Specialist to provide in-home, school-based, and community assistance to youth and families. You will develop tailored care plans, collaborate with treatment teams, and deliver compassionate support to promote healthy coping and safety.

Starting salary range is $19.21–$21.62 per hour, with steps 1–5 of an 11-step pay schedule. The role emphasizes professional development and active engagement with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Background check and Montana child abuse registry clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized plans and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Provide therapeutic support in school, home, and community settings.
• Collaborate with treatment teams, educators, and families for comprehensive care.
• Document required information in the EMR in line with agency standards.
• Participate in PQI initiatives and ongoing professional development.
• Attend weekly case consultations with the assigned Therapist.
