Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch (YBGR) seeks a Family Support Specialist 2 to drive transformative, in-home support for youth and families. You will design personalized plans, work with a collaborative care team, and deliver hands-on support across home, school, and community settings.

Starting hourly salary ranges from $20.38 to $22.94, with steps 1–5 of a pay schedule; starting pay based on education and relevant experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years human services experience = Bachelor’s degree; each year of post-secondary human services education = 1 year experience).
Fingerprint criminal background check and child abuse registry clearance as required by the State of Montana.

Responsibilities

Empower families by assessing needs and delivering targeted interventions.
Develop individualized plans using evidence-based practices to support youth.
Provide care in home, school, and community settings in line with agency standards.
Collaborate with treatment teams, supervisors, educators, clinicians, families, and community stakeholders for comprehensive treatment plans.
Accurately complete documentation in the EMR system.
Contribute to agency goals via PQI initiatives.
Represent YBGR with integrity and professionalism.
Uphold policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Identify challenges and seek solutions; participate in supervision and ongoing training.
