Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking an IHBT Family Services Coordinator in Preble County, OH. The role provides in-home advocacy, counseling, and community resource referrals to youth and families, working under supervision to safe and stable community living.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, plus experience with youth and families, and flexibility for non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours for families.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Provides in-home supportive services, transportation, parenting education, counseling, community resource referral, and advocacy.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services in compliance with requirements.
• Completes all required documentation and trainings in a timely manner.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and family across mental health, medical, educational, and social services.
• Reviews and adjusts youth-based plans to ensure progress toward goals.
