Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Fairfield County, Ohio, is hiring a full-time Community Based Therapist to join the IHBT team. The role focuses on counseling, advocacy, and community-based supports to help youth and families live safely in the community.

Compensation is $63,000 annually plus a productivity bonus and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The program emphasizes collaboration with foster families, schools, and partner agencies, along with strong supervision and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of work experience with youth and families preferred.
• Valid advanced professional license as required by state or contract regulations.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours for foster families and youth.
• Ability to be respectful and sensitive to diverse cultures, backgrounds, and communities.
• Proficient use of computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services and case management.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services.
• Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintains productivity thresholds.
• Participates in on-call crisis support and intervention.
• Coordinates and monitors youth and family services in the community.
• Reviews and updates youth plans to ensure progress.
• Builds strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Supports family reunification and stabilization efforts as needed.
• Performs safety assessments and crisis stabilization as required.
• Participates in CQI activities and weekly supervision.
