Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Candidates with a degree in an unrelated field require a minimum of four years’ experience in child, youth, and family serving systems and an approved waiver from the Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Counsel, refer, place and/or provide adoptive services for assigned cases within the CUA.
• Maintain a caseload of ten families and conduct home visits when needed.
• Interview individuals for services, assess needs and determine appropriate referrals.
• Develop service and treatment plans, monitor progress and coordinate with partner agencies.
• Arrange for kinship or family foster care placement and ensure medical/psychosocial needs are addressed.
• Prepare reports, maintain client records, and participate in supervision meetings.
