Job summary

Together for Youth in New York is seeking a dedicated youth services case manager to conduct screenings, assessments, and individual counseling for youth in detention, group homes, or shelters. You will coordinate with families and key stakeholders, collect data, file court reports, and support staff to maintain a safe, structured environment while complying with state regulations.

Prerequisites include a Bachelor's in human services, 2 years of case management with youth experience; a Master's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services required with 2 years of case management experience.
• Master's degree preferred with 1 year youth-focused experience.
• TCI certification and First Aid/CPR training required after hire.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial screenings and assessments for youth admitted to the facility.
• Provide individual counseling and address underlying challenges.
• Coordinate communication between youth, family, and DSS/probation/law guardians.
• Assist NSD Coordinator and support facility operations.
• Collect and maintain data; prepare court summaries and reports.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and COA standards.
• Assist with supervision and counseling of youth; coordinate family contact.
