Our mission is to cultivate a community of young entrepreneurs equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in today’s dynamic business world.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Entrepreneurship Mentor to guide and support students through a comprehensive 6-month entrepreneurial program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating our three-phase program: Plan, Build, and Grow. This role involves identifying organizational problems, developing innovative solutions, and preparing students to pitch their ideas to a broad audience. The Entrepreneurship Mentor will provide weekly training sessions and classes, enabling students to conduct effective research and apply theoretical knowledge in practical, market-driven scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the Plan Phase: Guide students in identifying and analyzing problems within the organization, understanding market demands, and selecting a relevant issue to address.
  • Lead the Build Phase: Assist students in brainstorming, developing, and refining solutions to their chosen problem, employing critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Support the Grow Phase: Prepare students for the final presentation of their solutions, offering insights on effective pitching techniques and audience engagement strategies.
  • Weekly Training Sessions: Conduct at least 1-hour weekly training or classes on various topics, including market analysis, business planning, solution development, presentation skills, and other relevant subjects.
  • Mentorship and Support: Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and support to students throughout the program, encouraging innovation, resilience, and growth.
  • Program Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of the training sessions and the overall program, implementing improvements as necessary to meet organizational goals and student needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, counseling, or mentoring roles, preferably in entrepreneurial or business contexts.
  • Strong understanding of business concepts, market analysis, and problem-solving methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse group of students.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate group discussions, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the program and students. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Conditions

  • This is a temporary, 6-month role may be renewed based on program success.
  • The role requires a commitment of at least 5 hours per week for direct training sessions, with additional time for preparation, mentorship, and program evaluation activities.
