Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Human Services, Recreation, Physical Education or General Degree Programs preferred.
• Must be enthusiastic, creative and have a desire to work with children and their families.
• Previous experience with diverse populations and children preferred.
• Acute planning and organizing skills preferred.
• Able to hire, train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer and lead the total operation of the enrichment classes, STEAM programs, and Y on the Fly, and Adventure Guides.
• Provide leadership and supervision for staff, volunteers, and program activities.
• Coordinate with families on scheduling, pricing, and facility needs for Birthday Parties and events.
• Educate community members about YMCA services and enhance member experiences.
• Support fundraising and annual campaign efforts through community engagement.
