Job summary

Findlay YMCA is seeking a Youth Enrichment Coordinator to develop and supervise enrichment classes, STEAM programs, and events such as Y on the Fly and Birthday Parties, with roughly 80% spent on program delivery and 20% on administrative duties.

You will lead staff, coordinate with families about availability and pricing, promote youth development, and support YMCA fundraising and annual campaigns while upholding safety and program standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Enthusiastic, creative and eager to work with children and families.
• Accurate planning and organizing skills are a plus.
• Ability to hire, train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer and lead operations of enrichment classes, STEAM programs, and events.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with families on availability, pricing, and amenities.
• Educate community about YMCA services and enhance member experiences.
• Support volunteerism and philanthropy through outreach and fundraising involvement.
• Foster social-emotional development and meaningful youth programs.
• Maintain program records and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Contribute to Annual Campaign and special events.

# Youth Enrichment CoordinatorHot Job300 E LINCOLN ST - FINDLAY, OH 45840## OverviewSalary Range$12.50 Hourly## Description**POSITION SUMMARY:**The Youth Enrichment Coordinator supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Youth Enrichment Coordinator develops and supervises youth programming at the Y including enrichment classes, STEAM programs, and Y on the Fly, Birthday Parties, and Adventure Guides. This position will be primarily spent in program delivery approximately 80% of the time and 20% in administrative duties. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**1. Administer and lead the total operation of the enrichment classes, STEAM programs, and Y on the Fly, and Adventure Guides.2. Ability to work and supervise children, families and staff while providing leadership, teambuilding, that includes purposeful programming that develops the social-emotional skills, fosters achievements, supports academic growth and provides enrichment opportunities.3. Oversee staff for Birthday Parties held on YMCA premises. Coordinate with consumers by providing information on availability, pricing, and amenities.4. Educate our community and members about the services the YMCA offers and assist in their best possible experiences.5. Support the strategic work of the YMCA by:6. Creating a culture of volunteerism by education members and our community about volunteer opportunities.7. Supporting a culture of philanthropy by telling your Y story to others and encouraging them to participate in making a difference in YMCA fundraising efforts.8. Encourage members and nurture the potential of all youth by promoting meaningful programs and services.9.
