Roads to Success is seeking an Activity Specialist to design and lead enrichment activities across arts, sports, STEM, and more for NYC youth. The role focuses on creating engaging, age-appropriate experiences that support learning, creativity, and positive relationships.

You will work under the Program Director, delivering quality programs onsite five days a week, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed. A valid background in youth programs is required and beneficial.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to plan and lead structured, engaging activities for youth.
• Experience working with school-age children in after-school programs or similar settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Plan and facilitate high-quality enrichment activities in assigned specialty areas.
• Develop structured lesson and activity plans aligned with program goals.
• Deliver engaging, interactive activities that are culturally responsive and accessible.
• Prepare materials and spaces and ensure cleanup after activities.
• Adapt activities based on participant interests and needs.
• Support culminating projects, performances, or demonstrations of learning.
• Maintain supervision and ensure safety during all activities.
• Document attendance and activity progress accurately.
• Collaborate with program leadership and staff for quality improvement.
• Participate in required trainings and meetings.
