Job summary

Buehler YMCA in Palatine, IL is seeking Youth Enrichment Instructors to support on-site programs at elementary schools. You will create a child-centered environment that fosters learning, character development, positive relationships, and healthy living.

You will help ensure participants have a safe, engaging experience while adhering to YMCA policies. The role offers ongoing training and advancement, competitive pay of $18.50–$19.00 per hour, benefits, PTO, wellness resources, retirement

• 17+ years old with relevant experience or coursework in childcare, education, or recreation.

Description

Youth Enrichment Instructors will assist in providing child-centered environments that promote learning, character development, positive & nurturing relationships and healthy living on-site at one of our elementary school locations. The YEI plays a key role in ensuring that program participants have a safe, supportive, interactive and enriching program experience while ensuring the safety and security of all program participants.
