Job summary

LifeSTEPS is seeking a Program Coordinator in Morgan Hill, CA for 10 hours/week at $21/hour. The role supports after-school education, empowering low-income families with resources and a caring environment for students' homework and enrichment.

You’ll collaborate with the Regional Social Services leadership to deliver high-quality services. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 2 years in a similar setting, and a valid CA driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a similar environment providing services.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Valid California Driving License and reliable, insured transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Empower children from low-income and underserved families to flourish by providing after-school education and resources.
• Ensure our young individuals have a caring and safe place after school to get homework help and academic enrichment.
• Encourage children to thrive and become empowered to develop into resilient adults.
• Design, implement, and coordinate activities and programs within assigned affordable housing complexes.
• Work closely with the Director of Social Services to provide the highest quality of service to residents.

Education
