Job summary

LifeSTEPS in Irvine, CA invites applications for a part-time Program Coordinator (10 hours/week). The role reports to the Regional Director of Social Services and focuses on designing and coordinating after-school programs within affordable housing communities.

You will work closely with the Director of Social Services to deliver high-quality services, support residents, and help empower children and families toward stable housing and growth.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in a similar environment providing services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Empower children from low-income and underserved families to flourish by providing after-school education and resources.
  • Ensure our young individuals have a caring and safe place to go after school to get assistance with homework and academic enrichment.
  • Encourage children to thrive and become empowered so they can develop into resilient adults.
