Job summary

Monroe Harding, Inc is seeking an Employment Coordinator in Nashville to support youth ages 16-26 through trauma-informed workforce development. The role blends group facilitation, one-on-one coaching, employer engagement, and case management within the Resource Center.

You will also lead Monroe Gardens, a youth-powered entrepreneurship initiative producing and selling handcrafted plant and wellness goods, while helping to scale future social enterprise projects and ensuring a welcoming,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, education, employment services, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years facilitating group training or workforce programs.
• Proven experience working with youth ages 16-26.
• Ability to recruit and develop employer and community partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce readiness programs and group coaching sessions.
• Coordinate Monroe Gardens entrepreneurship activities and sales.
• Provide referrals to community resources and SNAP Employment & Training enrollment.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and timely case notes.
• Plan and execute job fairs, resource fairs, and partner events.
