Job summary

Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains in Flandreau, SD seeks an Education Coordinator to implement the 21st CCLC after-school program, supervise staff, and oversee curriculum and enrichment activities for youth. You will partner with teachers, administrators, and nutrition staff to ensure safe, engaging and effective educational experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University; Education degree preferred.
Experience working with youth in 9th–12th Grade.
Management/Supervisory experience.
Ability to apply behavior management principles per Club trainings and values.
Ability to lead and supervise employees to ensure program success.

Responsibilities

Implement the 21st CCLC after-school program’s timeline and activities.
Plan curriculum, staffing and scheduling for each location.
Monitor budget and program outcomes.
Collaborate with Marketing and Nutrition staff to support program access and meals.
Hire, supervise, and evaluate teachers and aides; maintain appropriate ratios.
Communicate with school staff to ensure student academic support.
