Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Youth Discipleship Ministries Specialist to oversee all aspects of Salvation Army youth programs, train leaders, manage divisional databases, process awards, and promote programs division-wide.

The role emphasizes developing and resourcing corps youth ministries, strengthening discipleship, coordinating events, camps, and trainings across the division. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of youth ministry leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Salvation Army experience and church involvement required.
• Min. 3 years leading, coordinating, and evaluating youth discipleship and summer camp programs, including curriculum development, database management, leadership training, event planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Valid Driver's license/MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Salvation Army organized youth programs, train local leaders, manage divisional databases, process higher awards, and promote youth ministry across the NCI Division.
• Develop and implement divisional strategies to strengthen youth discipleship and expand programs.
• Coordinate on-site visits, provide feedback and direction to corps leadership, and promote youth conferences.
