Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida is seeking a Youth Development Professional - Sports & Recreation (Biltmore Elementary) to help members develop physical fitness, reduce stress, and enjoy positive leisure time after school. The role emphasizes program planning, supervision, safety, and collaboration with staff to deliver high-yield activities for ages 6–18.

The position requires guiding youth with developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining a safe environment, and coaching teams

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs in Sport and Recreation.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement a variety of sports and recreation programs for members of all ages.
• Recruit and retain youth for sports programs.
• Work with other staff to implement these programs throughout the school year.
• Coach teams in BGCNF sports leagues.
