Job summary

Contact Community Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated youth development program assistant to help plan, implement, evaluate, and deliver an off-site youth development program.

The role focuses on academic and enrichment programming, social-emotional support, and case management within a 35-hour workweek. Responsibilities include maintaining a caseload of 25 students, data reporting, family contacts, daily student check-ins, and weekly group facilitation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (preferred) in Human services or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with youth development and prevention programming for ages 8–16.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload of 25 students throughout the school year.
• Collect relevant program data and compile required program reports by due date.
• Maintain youth case records and notes in the data system, including personal information, ISPs and report cards.
• Maintain regular family/parent contacts (phone, email, text, face-to-face).
• Provide daily check-ins with all students.
• Plan and facilitate weekly groups to support academic and social-emotional needs.
• Provide push-in consultation to classroom teachers for ISPs.
• Attend agency, school staff, SIT and team meetings as required.
• Transport equipment, food, and supplies as requested by supervisor.
• Occasional evenings and/or weekends may be required.
• Follow job-related instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
