Job summary

Cordova Recreation & Park District is seeking a Recreation Supervisor II - Youth Development to organize, supervise, and promote youth development programming and related recreational activities in our community.

Under the Recreation Superintendent, you will lead a team, manage facilities, coordinate programs, budget, pursue grants, and maintain public relations while delivering high-quality services across Sacramento County communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation management, leisure services, public/business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Exceptional experience may substitute for some education.

Responsibilities

• Organize, supervise, and promote youth development programming and related recreational activities.
• Supervise planning, development, and implementation of programs, facilities, and events.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and billing; oversee expenditures and audits.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and partners; ensure contract compliance.
• Lead marketing and public relation efforts, including social media and printed materials.
