Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club Of Utah County invites energetic Youth Development Professionals to join at Heber Valley Elementary. This part-time role focuses on mentoring youth ages 5–18, leading games, and creating a safe, engaging environment after school.

You will work about 22–26 hours weekly, Monday 2–6 and Tue-Fri 3–6, with a September 21, 2026 to May 28, 2027 commitment and summer opportunities.

Pay is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour; background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth (ages 5–18) in educational, recreational, or team settings preferred.
  • Reliable team player with a positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly paid trainings and professional development.
  • Ability to actively supervise children, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift 25–50 lbs.

  • Lead the Fun: Facilitate and participate in games, recreational activities, and enrichment programs.

The Details
  • Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

  • Location: Heber Valley Elementary

  • Schedule: Part-Time (Estimated 22-26 hours/week). Monday (Approx. 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM) and Tuesday-Friday (Approximately 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM).

  • Commitment: September 21, 2026 – May 28, 2027 (Summer program opportunities available!)
