HomeSafe Florida is looking for a Youth Development Professional Floater (YDP-F) to provide direct care and supervision to children in their Specialized Therapeutic Group Home Program. The YDP-F will work a 40-hour weekly schedule primarily during the evening shift of 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
and will be responsible for implementation of the behavior management system and maintaining open communication. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma and one year of experience with children.
The Youth Development Professional Floater (YDP-F) is responsible for the direct care and supervision of children in the Specialized Therapeutic Group Home Program. In order to maintain consistency and continuity of care, the YDP-F will adhere to the established daily schedule of activities; implement the behavior management system; maintain open communication with co-workers and administrators, and complete all necessary documentation. The YDP-F will have a regular established schedule during the 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shift; 40 hours per week. However, the YDP-F will be the first person contacted to cover a call out; or other shift that may be open due to scheduled and unscheduled staff absences (i.e. vacation, sick, workman's compensation leave, FMLA leave, additional 1:1 assistance, jury duty or any other scheduled or unforeseen staff shortage).
Applicants should have at minimum a high school diploma or GED and at least one year experience working with children/adolescents. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) encouraged to apply. Child Development Associate or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. A valid Florida's driver’s license is required. Must be able to commute to West Palm Beach.
