Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver (BGCMD) is hiring a Youth Development Professional - Before Care at the Mosley Boys & Girls Club in Aurora, CO. This part-time, non-exempt role (11 hours/week) sits on-site and offers a base pay of $21.50 per hour.

The YDP will lead high-yield activities in various program areas and support youth across the club. Responsibilities include implementing engaging programs, mentoring members, and collaborating with staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and/or teens.
• Ability to supervise groups of youth and maintain active supervision.
• Strong English proficiency for communication and safety guidelines.
• Preferred: Spanish speaker; teaching certificate or education background.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging youth programs aligned with positive youth development.
• Support youth engagement across Athletics, Cultural Arts, Education, STEM or Teen programs.
• Submit programming supply needs to the Program Manager before activities.
• Foster a safe, inclusive Club culture and mentor members.
• Assist with setup, cleanup and enforcing safety policies.
