Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in education or working with students.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Knowledge of Life Skills, behavior management and group facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with Center life through supervision and mentoring.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and report issues.
• Monitor students in hygiene, chores, recreation, cafeteria, transportation and activities.
• Ensure wake up procedures and MAC signature are completed.
• Maintain bulletin boards with updated information.
• Organize and direct recreation/non-vocational activities.
• Facilitate small group Life Skills discussions.
• Provide informal counseling on stress, emergencies and related topics.
