  • Monitor students in hygiene, chores, recreation, cafeteria, transportation and activities.
  • Ensure wake up procedures and MAC signature are completed.
  • Maintain bulletin boards with updated information.
  • Organize and direct recreation/non-vocational activities.
  • Facilitate small group Life Skills discussions.
  • Provide informal counseling on stress, emergencies and related topics.

Schedules:

  • Option 1: Monday & Tuesday 3:00pm-12:00am, Friday-Sunday 8am-5pm (1 Opening)
  • Option 2: Wednesday - Sunday 3:00pm-12:00am (3 Openings)
  • Option 3: Friday-Tuesday 1:00pm-10:00pm (1 Opening)
  • Option 4: Thursday-Monday 11:30pm-8:30am(1 Opening)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification, and acting as a mentor.
  • Conducts daily safety inspections of assigned area and reports/documents all Facility or Safety related issues.
  • Provides daily supervision or assistance in monitoring students in personal hygiene, room/ chore assignments, recreations activities, cafeteria monitoring, transportation and programmed activities.
  • Ensures that Student Wake up procedures are followed, and that the MAC is signed by each present student (Student Accountability) .
  • Maintains bulletin boards in assigned area with updated student and center information.
  • Organizes, conducts and directs recreation/ non-vocational activities.
  • Facilitates small group discussions in Life Skills, peer mediation, conflict resolution, etc.
  • Provides informal counseling in relation to stress management, personal problems, emergency, or home situations, etc., with students, and provides insight into responsible behaviors and attitudes.

Minimum: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: At least one year of experience in education or a similar field, working with students. Model the company Core Values.

Knowledge: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping techniques and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate and execute instructions or directives fluently in English. Must obtain CPR & 1st aid Certification.

Salary Information

$18.81 - $18.81Hourly Wage
