Job summary

The Salvation Army Front Royal Youth Center seeks an active, mission-driven team member to help plan and lead youth programs in our community. You will assist with member registration and orientation, provide positive role modeling, and implement engaging activities aligned with our Child and Youth priorities.

You will also help monitor program safety, document outcomes, and support outreach to grow membership while adapting to the needs of diverse youth and families in our community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; prior experience with children/youth preferred.
• Promotes youth development outcomes and program participation.
• Must be able to perform physical activities and lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Assist with registration and center orientation.
• Lead and participate in youth programming and activities.
• Monitor programs for safety and quality; prepare period reports.
• Support outreach efforts to sustain and increase program membership.
