Job summary

CASES in New York City is seeking a Youth Coach to support systems-impacted youth ages 13-24. The role focuses on strengths-based, trauma-informed youth development, building individualized goals and connecting participants with educational and career opportunities across Manhattan, the Bronx, and broader NYC.

You will work 1:1 with youth, run group activities, track progress in Care4, and collaborate with school staff, foster parents, and Case Planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years working with young people.
• Associate degree with 3+ years of youth work experience.
• Credible messenger with lived experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with 10–15 youths; use creative approaches.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other agency personnel.
• Help youth explore interests and set individualized academic/career goals.
• Work 1:1 to advance goals and document progress in Care4.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and community outreach.
