Qualifications

  • Interested in creating positive experiences for youth, including participants with special needs or challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Participate with children in activities such as sports, art, dance, and homework assistance.
  • Help participants grow and develop as individuals and bond as a group.
  • Support the authority of the group leader.
  • Guide children’s development and help them relate to each other and to adults.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of special events and other community-building activities.
  • Attend weekly professional development meetings.
