Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Coach to empower K-3 students through life-skills workshops and targeted coaching. This on-site role focuses on motivation, resilience, and communication, leveraging AI-powered learning tools rather than traditional classroom instruction.

You will lead one cohort, deliver engaging workshops, coach students individually and in small groups, and use analytics to track weekly goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps or similar environments.
• Experience leading group activities for young children with demonstrated engagement.
• Track record of motivating young children to achieve challenging goals with concrete examples.
• Concrete example of adapting approach based on feedback and showing result.
• Comfort using AI-powered learning while focusing energy on coaching, motivation, and life-skill development.
• Ability to balance warmth with unwavering expectations and keep children engaged through energetic storytelling.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops to help K-3 students master communication, focus, feedback, and other durable skills.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups, using analytics and motivation systems to keep progress toward weekly goals.
• Assess life-skill mastery through Alpha's framework and coach until genuine understanding is demonstrated.
• Adapt coaching style to cohort developmental needs, using storytelling and movement as appropriate.
• Build supportive relationships to encourage students to stretch beyond their perceived limits.
