MISSOURI VALLEY FAMILY YMCA in Bismarck, ND is seeking a part-time Daytime Teaching Assistant to care for infants, toddlers or preschool children in a licensed childcare and preschool center.

This role emphasizes safety, daily routines, and active communication with teachers and parents; shifts include 9:00 am-2:00 pm, Noon-6:00 pm, and 4:00 pm-6:00 pm, with a free YMCA membership as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Embodies the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
• Prior experience in an early childhood or educational setting is a plus.
• CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training completed within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive role model for the children.
• Oversee feeding, playtime, educational activities, rest periods, and bathroom breaks.
• Uphold child safety by adhering to safety and security procedures.
• Provide active observation and effective communication with Teachers and parents.
