Qualifications

• Dance experience or proficiency in one or more dance styles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate participants of varying skill levels.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct dance classes for participants of various ages and skill levels.
• Choreograph and plan dance routines.
• Create a welcoming environment that encourages participation and personal growth.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during classes.
• Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with parents, participants, and YMCA staff.
• Plan and execute annual dance recital.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dance spaces and equipment.
• Uphold YMCA policies, procedures, and risk management standards.
