Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC in Redwood City seeks a part-time coach to lead after-school sessions for children aged 5–10. You will teach using provided lesson plans, manage 8–16 students, and maintain a positive, energetic class atmosphere.

Job description

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

Requirements:

• Must be 19+ years old upon application
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
