Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking qualified instructors to lead in-person Cooking and Culinary Arts activities for K–12 students in New York. As independent contractors, you’ll deliver engaging, hands-on lessons, assess progress, and adapt content to age and facilities.

Sessions are typically once a week for 8–10 weeks, with safety and allergy guidelines followed at every step. Successful applicants bring culinary background, strong communication, and a customer‑facing mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 60 completed college credits or an Associate degree (in progress).
• Relevant cooking, baking, culinary, or food-service experience.
• Experience with children/teens in educational or enrichment settings.
• Strong communication and group-management skills.
• Ability to supervise hands-on activities safely and effectively.
• Dependable, organized, and professional approach to instructional assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive culinary activities using provided materials.
• Supervise students during hands-on food preparation.
• Maintain an organized and supportive instructional environment.
• Adjust activities based on student age, facilities, and available equipment.
• Follow applicable school procedures, allergy guidelines, and food-safety requirements.
• Communicate professionally with program contacts; maintain attendance records; complete required assignment documentation.
