Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring a Therapist at Safe Passage in South Bend, Indiana. The role focuses on crisis intervention, evaluation, and treatment planning for youth ages 10–18 in a secure facility.

You will conduct assessments, administer psychological testing, and lead groups while coordinating with the wider care team. A Master’s in social work and license eligibility are required, with 8-hour weekday shifts and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field requested.
• License eligibility required or anticipated for role.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, TB test and credential checks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis situations and support youth in distress.
• Assess and monitor youth, including suicide/self-harm risk; develop safety plans.
• Administer/testing for psychological evaluation of youth.
• Facilitate treatment groups for youth post-evaluation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support program goals.
