Job summary

Nexus Family Healing is seeking Youth Support Professionals for the Southeast Regional Crisis Center (SERCC) in Rochester, MN. You will support clients’ therapeutic plans by guiding daily living activities and scheduled therapies, while collaborating with a care team to reinforce safety and engagement.

This part-time role (10-20 hours/week) is onsite in Rochester, MN, with a first shift 7am–3:30pm and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License; must meet state driving requirements.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities.
• Willingness to meet cultural needs of communities (language, traditions, values).
• Must pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and supervision of client daily activities and behavior according to guidelines.
• Participate with coworkers in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic services.
• Ensure client safety and maintain a positive, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
• Plan and participate in client activities.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries in interactions with clients.
• Collaborate with families/support networks to reinforce positive partnerships.
