Established in 2018, Falls Academy is certified as a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP), which is a type of residential treatment center designed specifically for youth ages 13 - 21 who require more intensive therapeutic interventions. QRTPs were established under the Families First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) passed in 2018 to ensure that youth receive high quality care that addresses their complex emotional, behavioral and educational needs. Family involvement is key in the treatment process to transition back to the home or community.
