Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a supervisor to guide Career Counselors in delivering personal and career counseling services to the students we serve, across residential settings. You will supervise and support counselors to ensure high-quality outcomes for participants.

You will manage the caseload of a group of young people aged 16-24 in a primarily residential setting, uphold professional and ethical standards, and provide training and resources for career counselor advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or sociology, or a bachelor's in another field with at least 15 credit hours of counseling courses required.
• Masters degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising and assisting Career Counselors in providing personal and career counseling services to the students we serve
• Responsible for managing the caseload of an assigned group of young people ages 16-24, in a primarily residential setting
• Responsible for ensuring career counselors behave in a professional, ethical manner at all times and provide sounds advice in regards to conflict and personal issues of the students
• Must maintain professional integrity with difficult clients and always consider the best interest of the clients
• Must provide training and resources for advancement of career counselors
