Job summary

The Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment is seeking a New Voices Youth Program Lead to manage the Summer Climate Justice Leadership Academy and the school-year Fellowship in Oakland. The role combines curriculum design, student engagement, recruitment, and mentoring of youth and Fellows.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, coordinating hybrid activities, and partnering with community groups to advance environmental justice in East Bay communities, with a focus on

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience educating youth, coordinating youth programs, or in leadership development.
• Experience with curriculum development and program planning and evaluation.
• Experience coordinating event and community outreach logistics.
• Experience working with queer youth and youth of color.

Responsibilities

• Program Management and Student Engagement (60%).
• Administrative tasks including impact evaluation, data collection, and progress tracking.
• Community Engagement and partnerships with community groups.
• Participate in organizational initiatives and strengthen the New Voices team.
