Job summary

Climate Corps Fellowship offers a paid, bridge‑to‑career opportunity to lead climate and community resilience projects with host organizations across California. This remote program supports fellows in advancing sustainability initiatives through data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building.

Fellows will gain hands‑on experience in climate planning, reporting, and statewide program implementation while traveling as needed within the geographic region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to environment, sustainability, or public administration.
• Experience collecting and analyzing data to support reporting or program evaluation.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support AASHE STARS implementation for clusters of 2–3 colleges, including data collection and reporting.
• Assist in implementing statewide climate actions to support Vision 2030 across California Community Colleges.
• Build relationships with college administrators and faculty to advance climate planning and sustainability initiatives.
• Collect, organize, and summarize sustainability metrics to track progress and prepare materials.
• Create templates, guides, and webinars to help campuses navigate STARS reporting processes.
