Job summary

The NYC Campaign Finance Board is seeking two Community Education Interns who will report to the Youth Engagement Specialist and support civic education initiatives focused on a youth audience. They will help develop and deliver programming and engage young people in voting education, both within internal programs and with external partners.

Responsibilities include facilitating NYC Votes workshops, maintaining partnerships, and supporting data entry and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Volunteer work on campaigns or in community settings is a bonus.
  • Ability to speak a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development and delivery of educational programming for youth.
  • Independently plan and facilitate NYC Votes workshops.
  • Represent the CFB and NYC Votes at events (in-person and virtual).
  • Register voters and provide non-partisan election information.
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing documents and managing emails.
  • Support data entry and maintain internal systems and databases.
