Job summary

The State of Georgia’s Georgia Job Challenge Academy (GA JCA) seeks a Post-Residential Coordinator to support a five-month program for youth preparing for employment and education. Based near Fort Stewart, you will lead training, mentor students, and manage records in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities include teaching job skills, resume help, coordinating recruitment, and tracking progress while collaborating with local schools and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field required; one year experience.
• Two years of experience with at-risk youth (ages 15–19) preferred.
• Basic computer software usage skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct training for individuals and groups.
• Follow lesson plans and teach job skills, resumes, and job applications.
• Mentor and campus liaison, prepare passes, reports, and correspondence.
• Input pertinent information into the database and track progress.
• Recruit and select students; assist with placement and progress tracking.
